Snook Inn – Marco Island, Florida Nov 08

If you are visiting the Marco Island Area one place you need to try is the Snook Inn. It has been a landmark on Marco Island for over 30 years. It was originally named the “Snook Hole” and catered to construction workers and locals during the beginning stages of Marco. The current owners purchased the property in 1985. These days,  Snook Inn has evolved into a renowned casual waterfront full-service restaurant.

Here you will dine Florida-style, indoors or outside, and can select from a variety of fresh seafood, steaks, sandwiches, and a wide selection of American and Island specialties. Enjoy our salad bar, which includes freshly-baked bread, tempting homemade dressings and the The Snook’s famous old-fashioned pickle barrel, stocked full of crisp dill pickles.

Reservations are not taken and you will often need to wait upwards of an hour to get in on a weekend night, but you will be happy with the atmosphere and the food. Sit on the dock while you wait and drink a beer while watching the dolphins play in the Marco River or feed the fish right off the dock.
